Should I get a Background check on a perspective nanny?
Even if you use a low cost service to help you find a nanny, you should not try to save time and money after you have found a perspective nanny. Remember that you are going to be leaving your children alone with this person. You need to find out everything possible about this person before you do so. Get a background check, references, and any other information on them before you hire them.
When you do get the background check, and the references, make sure you verify them. If you can try to cross reference them. Ask the person your calling if they have any other people that they can call regaurding this person.
Good Luck and remember that its your childs security that is most important!
