The Zone Diet
There are a lot of diets out there. What makes the zone diet differenent then the rest? It focuses on keeping your body in hormonal balance. How? With a prepared food plan that gives a balenced ratio of carbohydrates, fat and proteins. In other words with the right ratio of foods, no foods are compromised!
Staying in the "Zone" is the primary goal of this diet. In the Zone your body is in its balance. Burning fat for fuel, and staying fit. Even eating snacks that are under 120 calories or allowed!
Recipes include low-carbohydrate meals, but the proteins do not over power the carbs. Your energy will still come from the carbohydrates, but you will still be counting your intake of calories.
The Zone Diet is also benificial for some of the following health reasons:
- Type II Diabetes
- Increased Energy Levels
- Loosing excess wieght
Remember that all of the zones meals are made for each individual. You take into account your level of activities, body fat ratio and sex and come up with your exact meal plan to keep you in the Zone!
