Neem Oil: Gardening Tips with the natural pesticide
So you have an insect problem in your garden? I have been using neem oil for about a year now and all of my plants are giving off more flowers, and more fruit.
Its a simple solution. Basically spray a concentration of 1/2 tablespoon per gallon over all of your plants that are being attacked by bugs. For best results get a spraying with a varable control to select the amount of concentration. Spray both the tops and bottoms of the leaves about once a month (when you first start use it once a week). Thats it!
How does it work?
When insects digest the neem oil into their bodies, it actually messes up their body chemistry. Then they loose their appetite and die.
The best part is that it will not harm you or your pets, only leafeating insects.
Good luck and happy bug killing!
